Job Summary

This is a hands-on, field-focused role ideal for an experienced construction project manager with strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. The Project Manager will oversee multiple under-bridge utility installation crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications. The position requires regular on-site presence at the Redmond, OR office and travel to job sites nationwide (approximately 5–7 days per month). The Project Manager reports to a remote supervisor and requires comfort with video-based communication and independent accountability.

Flexibility for short-notice travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute project planning, scheduling, and logistics for each assigned site.

  • Manage 2–3 field crews (approximately 9–12 personnel total) and ensure work is executed to quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

  • Maintain active communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; support daily coordination, project updates, and continuous improvement feedback loops.

  • Organize and maintain clear project documentation using Bluebeam, including RFIs, submittals, and construction documents.

  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, handle procurement and material tracking.

  • Coordinate on-site staging and mobilization with crews and Superintendent to ensure site readiness.

  • Lead project closeout activities, including submission of final documentation and deliverables to clients.

  • Attend job sites during key phases and respond to on-call issues, including off-hours or weekend needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.

  • Strong proficiency with Bluebeam – must be able to independently create markups, RFIs, and manage submittals.

  • Demonstrated experience managing field crews and subcontractors across multiple active projects.

  • Working knowledge of construction materials, site planning, and safety practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial tracking.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work independently with remote supervision while building strong working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in utility installation (telecommunications, power, sewer, water).

  • Background in custom home construction or project management for small contractors.

  • Familiarity with labor law, timekeeping, and compliance processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience.
